We are so happy and amazed how quickly this year has gone. Scarlet is the definition of "perfect baby." She's got amazing sleeping habits, has always been consolable and rarely is fussy. She's inquisitive, is developing an amazing sense of humor and adventure and truly adores her brothers. And while Addy was quick to warm up to her in the beginning, Everett took a little longer - I'd say about a year.
Just in the last few weeks, though, we can really see him accepting her as his little sister ... she loves it and so do we.
Scarlet was definitely a huge surprise for us, but we go to sleep every night feeling so thankful that she is part of our family. She's an amazing child and we can't wait to see what the next year will bring for her.
Happy Birthday, Scoopy. We love you more than you'll ever know and can't wait to celebrate tomorrow and on Saturday with your party.
