Your preschooler may now have a favorite playmate or two at daycare or at the park. He's forming his idea of what it means to have a friend — a concept that's still a little fuzzy but will grow more sophisticated as his social skills sharpen during the coming year. Sharing, for example, is still a tough one.
The boys are definitely latching onto certain friends at school. On the first day, Everett met a girl named Victoria and now, 4 months later - which is like 4 years in toddler time - both boys adore her.
