RIP: Pony

We didn't know you long, but we certainly loved you.

Sad to say that Scarlet's guinea pig, Pony, passed away today. He was the smallest of the group and actually came home to us last week with a limp on his back leg. Though we were hoping he would recover, Scarlet found him "flat" in his cage tonight.

While the boys seems to be OK with it, Scarlet is still trying to figure things out, first telling us that the other two guinea pigs jumped on Pony and caused his demise. She also asked to check on him a few times after we wrapped him and put him in a box, which is destined for PetSmart tomorrow.

Let's see how she does picking a new friend at the store tomorrow and saying goodbye for a final time to Pony.
