This year is the first that Everett has taken an active role of the BullCast ... he's actually crazy about it. Like, it keeps him up at night and wakes him up 40 minutes early in the morning so he can check scores.
At the end of each week, The Bull (aka Fab) emails the family the highlights of the week. Here's one recent week that focused on Everett:
Everett would like to offer his heartfelt congratulations (ridicule) to everyone for a week well(very poorly) played. He takes it all in stride (no he doesn't) and truly places an emphasis on modesty (his superiority) and remains very humble (the opposite of humble) in an effort to maintain a modicum (huge amounts) of sportsmanship (bragging rights).
He has a great outlook (obsession) on this whole picking thing we do and keeps everything in perspective (it's his air). I'm sure we'll all look back fondly (begrudgingly) when he's a Scientist at NASA (oddsmaker at the Borgata in Atlantic City) at all the good (bad) times we had with him in the Bullcast (nonexistent).
As stated before, his perspective is sound (fictional) so he definitely did not almost cry (teared up heavily, we're seeking help) when he found out he did not win in the previous two weeks. So when he saw that had actually won this week (woke up at 6am to check, Tuesday morning) he was super gracious (woke me up at 6:03am to tell me) about it. He didn't even mention that his father went 7-9 (called me a loser). Seriously, what else can a father ask for (replacement)?
In closing, Everett (Picks Maestro) would like to wish (curse) everyone luck (misfortune) in next week's picks.
Like the commercial says, Everett doesn't always pick the winners, but when he does, he drinks Dos Equis (sweet tea in a Snow White cup, neat). Stay picking, my friends.
