Kindergarten and Pre-K: Finishing the Second Semester

Well, it feels like the second 9 weeks of school has flown by. The boys already received their progress reports and we continue to do well and make improvements where needed.

Everett received all Es (for excellent) in all categories and is reading at the "K" level, which is a 2nd grave level. He can rote count to 133 and count to 100 by 10s.

Addison has a majority of Es, as well as "satisfactory" in "approaches to learning".  He increased his "satisfactory" rating to "excellent" in art, but is still working on the areas of Reading, Writing and Math, where we need to keep working. He can rote count to 29 and count to 100 by 10s. So, after school and weekends continue to be filled with fun learning lessons.

Scarlet does not get a progress report by semester, but during a recent parent/teacher conference, her teacher said she is doing very well in all aspects of school and is now trying to spell words and sound them out as she writes, which is the start of reading.
