Happy Halloween!

This was another Halloween with great memories for us and the kiddos. We're so lucky they are in the same school now to celebrate together during the day and we have wonderful neighbors to trick-or-treat with at night!

Even though I was in Nashville for work, I didn't want to miss Halloween at school! So, I drove home after my last event, got in at 4 a.m., and headed to school for the Kindergarden parade at 8 a.m.

No surprise here! Scarlet was one of 6 Elsa's in her class.

Each year, all Kindergarden classes get to parade down the halls and all of the other grades sit outside and cheer them on. It was so cool to see Addison and Everett waiting in the hall for their sister this year!

This is the boys' entire class, who snuck to the library for a class photo before heading back into their room.
After the parade (and a quick nap!) I went back to school so the little people could pass out cupcakes to their friends at lunch. Well worth it!

Then, the evening began! This year, we borrowed a golf cart to ease the number of people in the hay ride. You might be able to guess - Addison was in heaven!

In the hayride before leaving. Everett was a minion this year and Addison was Jeff Gordon. Best of all, they decided EARLY and made life much easier in the last week of October.

Last but not least, Elsa in the evening. Poor Scarlet was sick, but a real trooper during trick or treating. When we arrived home, she was half asleep and went right to bed without checking her candy. She's now on the mend!
