Welcome to the family, Hamilton

Now that we've had her for a few months - and she's still alive and actually quite nice - we'd like to formally introduce our newest pet - Hamilton, a Syrian dwarf hamster.

Hamilton joined us right before Christmas and was a reward for Addison completing his latest (and hopefully final) round of OT, which took him about a year. 

We picked Hamilton after researching the type of hamsters that have good temperaments and like to be held. She really fits the bill! 

She's a sweet hamster that we play with everyday. She lives in the boys room and the kiddos take turns cleaning her cage and vacuuming her area every week. We'll have to post some more recent pics because she's gotten so much bigger than this photo. 

Addison took Hamilton - and Jeffery, our Elf on a Shelf - to Vovo and Opa's for Christmas.
