It's already past midnight, so I can wish my little girl the happiest 2nd birthday there is in the world! Two years ago, we were still in shock that another baby was on the way, and in just a few hours, we were getting up to leave for the hospital.
Scarlet was a whirlwind delivery - having been breeched and with her cord wrapped around her neck twice - but she was an amazing infant and is turning into one of the most beautiful toddlers you can ever meet.
She's smart, funny, a little demanding and direct - and completely adorable. She spends her time pining after her brothers and doing everything she can to either please them or drive them up a wall. She still sucks her thumb and holds her ear before bed, exactly the way she did when she was 1 day old. Scarlet is the perfect combination of sassy and sweet and we can't imagine our family without her.
Happy birthday, Scarleche - aka Scarleche Tres Leches, Scoopy da Poops and Girlie - no matter what we call you, you are appreciated, loved, valued and adored by every member of this little clan.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!! I totally agree with mama, you are so very precious and all of us are so very grateful that you came along. Your mama was an unplanned surprise just like you and I've said a million times that I just couldn't imagine life without her. Grandma and Grandpa love you very much!!!
