The kids don't completely understand, but they have an idea of the move, which includes packing of all of their belongings and unpacking in a new room painted in their favorite colors. They also know about a new school, new Publix and new set of stores and playgrounds.

Well, today is the big day!! I know you are all so excited and I just wanted you to know that I share your excitement and happiness too. As I sit here at work today, I can think of nothing else except that you are finally leaving. My head knows that this is a great thing for all of you. A great neighborhood, great schools, and a big beautiful house. All the ingredients that add up to a wonderfully wholesome existence, and for that I am very happy for you. At the same time, I sit here with tears in my eyes knowing that I won't see you as often as I'd like. But I promise you that grandpa and I will do everything possible to get to see you as often as possible. We'll look forward to when you'll be able to come and visit us too. Grandpa and I love you all very much and we only want the best that life has to offer and for you to always be happy.
