VIDEO: Addison Loses His First Tooth!

We found Addison's first wiggly tooth a few weeks ago. He was complaining of pain and when we looked, we realized his big tooth was coming in already! He also had two 6-year molars working their way in as well. A few days later, at a regular dental cleaning, the dentist told us the tooth would have to come out in the next 3 weeks or be "extracted" - which sounds both expensive and painful! 

So, we tried and tried to wiggle, but while I can do lots of things as a mom, I can not pull teeth. (Or cut nails, by the way.)
While in Florida, we enlisted the help and expertise of Auntie Shannon, who also happens to be a nurse! 

After just a few seconds and maybe 2 tries, Shannon pulled the tooth (my hero!)!! No tears from the brave boy.  The next morning, he discovered that the tooth fairy found him (even on vacation) and left 5 gold dollar coins and a case for his iTouch.

We were lucky to get it on video! If you don't mind this type of thing - you'll see Addison lose his first tooth!
